All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Jewel Wesley Sistrunk Funeral services for Mr. Jewel Wesley Sistrunk, 68, of Moss Bluff, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at 2 p.m., in the Calvary Assembly of God Church. The Revs. Lowell Brannen, and Danny Miller officiated. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Sistrunk died on Dec. 18, at 3 p.m., in a Lake Charles hospital. He was a native of Mitchell, and lived in Lake Charles-Moss Bluff area for 53 years. He was a graduate of Mitchell High School, a local business college, and a local truck driving school. He retired as a warehouseman for Cities Services. Mr. Sistrunk is survived by his widow, Betty F. Sistrunk of Moss Bluff; two daughters, Lisa Ann Huddleston of Shreveport, and Donna Cecile Thornton of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren; and four sisters, Sybil Emmons, and Dollie Green, both of Mitchell, Mildred Scimemi of Lake Charles, and Jo Ann Saylor of Lindale, Texas.
