Mrs. Onie Irene Sistrunk

  Services for Mrs. Onie Irene Sistrunk, 85, of Kilgore, Texas,
were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Rose-Neath's Mansfield
Chapel, with the Rev. Bobby Lofton, pastor of Gretna United
Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery
near Pleasant Hill, La.

  Mrs. Sistrunk died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1987, in Tyler, Texas,
following a short illness. She was a native of Pleasant Hill, and
had lived most of her life there. She had been a resident of
Kilgore for the past five years. She was a member of the Pleasant
Hill United Methodist Church.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin W. Sistrunk;
and three sons, Van Buren Sistrunk, Donald R. Sistrunk, and
Donald M. Sistrunk.

  She is survived by three sons, Tony Sistrunk of Minden, James M.
Sistrunk of Pleasant Hill, Billy W. Sistrunk of Kilgore, Tex.;
four daughters, Vera Robinson of Colusa, Calif., Sarah Callens of
Kilgore, Joyce Cox of Minden, Shirley Flowers of Delhi, Calif.;
24 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were grandsons.
