Mrs. Myrtle Hilton Sistrunk

  Services for Mrs. Myrtle Hilton Sistrunk, 87, were held at 2
p.m., Thursday, April 27, 1989, at the Mitchell United Methodist
Church. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Wallace, assisted by the
Rev. Roy Mouser. Burial was at the Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mrs. Sistrunk died Tuesday, April 25, 1989, at the DeSoto
General Hospital in Mansfield, after a short illness. She was a
homemaker, and a member of the Mitchell United Methodist church.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Sistrunk;
and one son, Harold Sistrunk.

  She is survived by one son, Jewel W. Sistrunk of Lake Charles;
six daughters, Sybil Emmons of Converse, Mildred Scimemi of Lake
Charles, Dollie Green of Converse, Jo Ann Saylor of Dallas, Tex.,
Dorothy Fain of Shreveport, and Celeste Taylor of Minden; 18
grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and
nephews.

  Grandsons were pallbearers.
