Mr. Buford Lanice Sistrunk

  Services for Mr. Buford Lanice Sistrunk, 71, were held Saturday,
Jan. 29, 1994, in Farmer Funeral Home Chapel in Silsbee, Tex., at
10 a.m. Burial was at Morse Cemetery in Buna, Tex.

  Mr. Buford passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, in St. Elizabeth
Hospital in Beaumont.

  He was a native of Mitchell, La., but had lived in Beaumont for
the past 48 years.

  He is survived by his wife, Lela Sistrunk of Beaumont; two sons,
Vaughn Sistrunk of Buna, and Joel Sistrunk of Lumberton; two
daughters, Sharon Caples of Fannett, Tex., and Debra Brown of
Lumberton, Tex.; one brother, Jesse Sistrunk of Garland, Tex.;
one sister, Orine Mitchell of Bogalusa; 13 grandchildren; and one
great grandchild.
