Mary Jane Schuler

  Services for Mary Jane Schuler, 56, of Mooringsport, were at 1
p.m., Thursday, April 12, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall
Street Chapel, with the Rev. Harold McClendon, pastor of
Mooringsport Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Plain
Dealing Cemetery in Plain Dealing.

  Mrs. Schuler, a native of Plain Dealing, died Sunday, April 8,
at her residence, following a long illness. She had lived in
Mooringsport three years, and was a former resident of Shreveport
and Bossier City. She was a beautician, and a member of Lakeshore
Baptist Church.

  Mrs. Schuler is survived by her husband, M. H. "Chub" Schuler;
two daughters, Martha Davis of Japan, and Sharon Law of
Phillipsburg, Kan.; one sister, Clara Rich of Baton Rouge; two
brothers, Foster Ward of Plain Dealing, and James H. Ward of
Zwolle; and four grandchildren.
