Mrs. Florence Robinson Scott

  Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Robinson Scott, were held
Sunday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., at the Pilgrim Star Baptist Church,
Florien. Rev. Milton Charles, pastor, and Rev. Freeman Richardson
officiated.

  Interment was in the Pilgrim Star Cemetery. Services were under
the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Scott died Feb. 3, 1985, at 12:45 a.m., at her residence,
at the age of 97 (1887-1985). She was the wife of the late Mr.
Albert Scott.

  Mourning her departure, yet cherishing the beautiful memory of
her love and devotion, includes two daughters, Mrs. Tommie Jean
Scott of Leesville, and Mrs. Vital Mae Thompson of Houston,
Texas; one son, Mr. Busty Scott of Alabama; 31 grandchildren; 85
great grandchildren; 54 great-great grandchildren, nieces, and
nephews.

  She was preceded in eternal rest by three children, Rosie,
Clare, and Willie.
