Lessie Mae Scott

  Funeral services for Lessie Mae Scott, 80, were at 1 p.m.,
Wednesday, Oct. 2, in Redland Baptist Church.

  The Rev. Carl A. Lilly officiated. Burial was in Negreet
Cemetery, under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home, Many.

  Mrs. Scott died Friday evening at her residence. She had resided
in DeRidder for eleven months.

  Survivors are three sons, Robert Scott of DeRidder, Fred Scott
of Monroe, and Walter A. Scott of Oakland, Calif.; five
daughters, Madie L. Evans of DeRidder, DeZella Miller, Annie P.
Scott, Maggie P. Nash, and Nelda J. Jarnagin, all of Houston,
Texas; one brother, Curtis Davis of Los Angeles, Calif.; two
sisters, Laura Gosey of Fisher, La., and Bessie Linch of Zwolle;
fifty one grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
