Fred Scott, Sr.

  Mr. Fred Scott, Sr., 51, of Monroe, died Feb. 7, 1986. Services
were held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Lee Collier
officiating at the Red Land Baptist Church. Burial was in Negreet
Cemetery, under the direction of Miller Funeral Home, 2932
Renwick St., Monroe.

  Survivors include his wife, Pearlie Scott of Monroe; two
daughters, Kinela Scott Bethea of Monroe, and Ramona Scott of
Dallas, Tex.; one son, Fred Scott, Jr. of Monroe; two brothers,
Robert Scott of DeRidder, and Walter A. Scott of Oakland, Calif.;
five sisters, Madie Evans of DeRidder, De Zella Miller, Annie
Pearl Scott, Maggie Sue Nash, and Nelda Jean Jernigan, all of
Houston, Tex., and one granddaughter.

  Pallbearers were the F. D. Thompson Legionaires Post 531.
