Mr. Robert Lee Sweet, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Sweet Sr., were held
Saturday, January 5, at Thomas Mortuary. Burial followed in New
Jerusalem Cemetery, under the direction of Thomas Mortuary. Rev.
Frank Williams officiated.

  Mr. Sweet departed this life January 1, at Heritage Manor
Nursing Home #1, in Many, at the age of 74.

  He married Miss Mildred Lilly of Many, and to this union, five
children were born. He leaves to cherish his memory, four
daughters, Mrs. Marie Henderson, Miss Betty Sweet, Mrs. Irma
Neal, Mrs. Carolyn Bishup of Chicago, Illinois; one son, Mr.
Robert L. Sweet Jr. of Many; eight grandchildren; four sisters,
Lilly Duncan of Tyler, Texas, Azzie Lee Jones of Detroit,
Michigan, Rosie Sistrunk, and Sylvester Burrell of Compton,
California; one brother, G. H. Hightower of Compton, Calif.; a
very special friend, Mrs. Ruth Bussey and children; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

  We loved him, but God loved him best.
