Mrs. Mary Jane Sweet

  Mrs. Mary Jane Sweet, 49, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at
Christus Schumpert Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at
Bethel Baptist Church, with interment following at Mary
Springfield Cemetery in Benson. The Rev. C. Raney Sr. officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Sweet of Many; two
sons, Eddie Cantrell Sweet, and Kevin Cartrell Sweet, both of
Many; one daughter-in-law, Kenya Sweet; two grandchildren,
De'Nesha McFarland, and Sa'Darius Sweet; mother, Bessie Mae
Jones; father, Frank Jones; four sisters, Myrtle James, Le'June
Courtney, Brenda Johnson, all of Many, and Gloria Waller of El
Paso, Texas; two brothers, Major Jones of Many; father-in-law, R.
A. Sweet; three brothers-in-law, James Waller, Charles Ray Sweet,
and Charlie Carhee; four sisters-in-law, Catherine Carhee, Ethel
Shelby, Joyce Jones, and Rosetta Sweet; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Columbus Jones, and her mother-in-law, Ethel Sweet preceded her
in death.
