Lester E. Sweet

  Funeral services for Lester E. Sweet, 61, of Phoenix, Ariz.,
were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, September 3, at South Phoenix
Baptist Church, under the direction of Eastlake Chapel and
Mortuary.

  Lester E. Sweet passed away on August 29, 1994, at the Phoenix
St. Luke Medical Center.

  Mr. Sweet was a native of Zwolle until 1958, and moved to
Phoenix, Ariz., where he was employed with the O. K. Barber Shop
for 5 years. Mr. Sweet retired this year.

  Survivors are his widow, Billie J. Sweet, seven daughters,
Debra, Danielle, Leslie Sweet, Pat Goodwin, Sherry Jones, Denise
Finley, and Gail Thomas; three sons, Elvis, Lester Sweet Jr., and
Chancey Sweet; three sisters, May Ola Sterling, Mary Bush, and
Dorothy Calhoun; two brothers, Clinton and John Sweet; 20
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
