Laverne Barnett Scott

  Funeral services for Laverne Barnett Scott, 82, will be held
June 22, 1996, at Haskin Chapel United Methodist Church, at 11
a.m.

  Mrs. Scott passed away Thursday, June 13, in New Orleans.

  She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Irma Kennedy; sister, Ruby
Johnson; her son-in-law, Clarence Kennedy; one granddaughter,
Belinda; her grandson, Clarence Jr.; a devoted cousin, Mrs. Ollie
Vee Shelby; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends.

  Mrs. Scott, as you remember, moved to New Orleans with her
daughter, where she lived until she departed this life.
