Mrs. Valerie Sweet

  Mrs. Valerie sweet, 70, of Many, died Friday, Oct. 30, at Summit
Hospital in Bossier City.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at New
Jerusalem Baptist Church. Interment followed at Saline Cemetery
in Converse.

  Survivors include her husband, Mr. Ruel Sweet of Many; one son,
Victor of El Paso, Texas; four daughters, Shirley of Logansport,
Denise of Alexandria, Va., Loretha of Frostwood, Ohio, and
Delphine of Charlotte, N. C.; two brothers, Leon Belton of
Inglewood, Calif., and Marcey Belton of Kansas City, Mo.; two
sisters, Cporia Jones, and Brenda Loyd, both of Converse; 13
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
