Mrs. Laura Scott

  Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Scott, 66, of Anacoco, were
Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in
Leesville, with the Rev. J. C. Har Heard, and the Rev. Harold
Baggett officiating. Burial was in the Beech Grove Cemetery.

  Mrs. Scott died Tuesday, Oct. 18, in an Alexandria Hospital,
after a long illness.

  She is survived by a son, Tyson Scott, with the U.S. Marines in
Viet Nam; four daughters, Mrs. Vernell Young, and Mrs. Von
Strachner, both of DeRidder, Mrs. Shirley Bourque, and Miss
Patricia Scott, both of Lake Charles; two brothers, Mark
Faircloth of Anacoco; and six grandchildren.
