All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Doris Lee "Dot" Wood Stevens Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Lee "Dot" Wood Stevens, 73, were held Monday, September 8, at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero with interment following at WestLawn Memorial Park. She was a native of Red River Parish and a residence of Belle Chasse for the past 51 years. Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Belle Chasse Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a loving mother and a precious wife. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Luther Roland Stevens; three sons, Ronald Ray Stevens of Shreveport, Perry Wayne Stevens and Charles Gary Steven both of Belle Chasse; Mrs. Stevens was the sister of Virginia Lurline Dykes, Marcia Jeanett Mitchell, Carolyn Claudette Gewin, Elinor Glynn Roddy, Frances Kay Wood and Edwin Ray Wood; two grandchildren Tanya and Kelli and Robin Stevens and a host of friends, nephews and nieces. Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by one son, Donald Eugene Stevens; her parents, Claudie Lee Wood and Ermine Cleo Grantham Wood and one brother, Charles Douglas Wood. Pallbearers were Joseph Roywood Mitchell, Charles Ray Wood, Willard "Sonny" Durr, J. P. Wood, Billy Hall Wood and Terral Stevens.
