The Sabine Index - Mrs. Janie Stevens

  17 Aug 1951 - Mrs. Janie Stevens, 82, died at 6:45 a.m.
Monday at Prothro clinic, Pleasant Hill, after a long illness.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Spring
Ridge Methodist church with the Rev. Willie Prothro officiating.
Burial was in the Spring Ridge cemetery under the direction of
Drewett funeral home of Mansfield.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nora McEllroy, and Mrs.
Selma Flores, of Pleasant Hill; one son, Jesse, of Pleasant Hill
and 14 grandchildren.
