Jesse D. Stevens

  Jesse D. Stevens, 80, died Saturday evening, March 3, in a local
hospital.

  Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, at 10:30 a.m., in
the Blue Ridge Methodist Church. The Rev. Percy Tibbett, assisted
by the Rev. Ruby Dickerson officiated. Burial followed in Spring
Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow, Carrie Belle Stevens; two sons,
Dalton L. Stevens of Pleasant Hill, and D. E. Stevens of
Shreveport; three daughters, Flora Farrar of Many, and Loretta
Estes, and Vonnie Barnes, both of Pleasant Hill; one sister,
Thelma Flores of Belmont; seven grandchildren, and one great
grandchild.
