Oscar Alexander Stephens

  Mr. Oscar Alexander Stephens, 76, of Jefferson, Tex., died in
the Atlanta Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Tex., May 13, 1984, at
3:30 p.m.

  Surviving Mr. Stephens is his wife, Mrs. Hazel Stephens of
Jefferson, Tex.; one son, Donald Stephens of Pineville, La.; one
daughter, Marjorie Hogan of Jefferson, Tex.; three brothers,
Laverne Stephens of Natchitoches, Everett Stephens, and Carol D.
Stephens of Alexandria; four sisters, Glady Wyatt, and Lulu
Stegeman of Natchitoches, Loree Sparks of Alexandria, and Dorothy
Vasser of Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren, and four great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Tuesday, May 15, 1984, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Earl
Marr officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
