  George Abe Stevens - February 25, 1988

  Mr. George Abe Stevens, 70, of Many, died at LSU Medical Center,
Shreveport on Feb. 14, 1988.

  Services were held at Union Baptist Church in Florien on Feb. 17
at 2 p.m. with Rev. Troy Henager officiating. Burial was at Union
Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mable Stevens of Many; one son,
Billy Ray Stevens of Ft. Jesup; two daughters, Betty Ann Worrell
of Milam, Tx. and Shirley Marie Meshell of Fisher; eight
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
