All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Nelda Jeanne Rivers Stevens Services for Mrs. Nelda Jeanne Rivers Stevens, 50, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, at the Blue Ridge Methodist Church near Pleasant Hill. Rev. E. W. Goleman, pastor of the church, officiated the services. Burial followed in the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Stevens passed away Monday, January 8, at her residence, following a sudden illness. She was a native of Zwolle, and had spent most of her life in the Pleasant Hill area. Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Blue Ridge Methodist Church, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Rivers. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband, Dalton L. Stevens of Pleasant Hill; one daughter, Lisa S. Austin of Mitchell; four sisters, Virginia Nash, Evelyn Champion, Gayle Crittenden, and Carrie Martinez; two brothers, Paul Rivers, and Kenneth Rivers, all of Zwolle; three grandchildren, Heather Austin, Crystal Austin, and Mark Austin II, and numerous other relatives. Pallbearers were B. W. Crittenden, Marshall Estes, Wilbur H. Farrar, Kenneth Barnes, Freddie L. Nash, and Gene Craig.
