Her legacy to her friends and family is her love of life, and the celebration of her faith. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Aug. 5, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following at Springridge Cemetery. The Rev. Ted Salley officiated. Survivors include a daughter, Flora Farrar and husband Sonny of Mt. Zion; son, Dalton Stevens and wife Bertha of Pleasant Hill; daughter, Loretta Estes and husband Marshall of Pleasant Hill; son, D. E. Stevens and wife Glendia of Greenwood; and daughter, Vonnie Barnes and husband Kenneth of Pleasant Hill; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bernice Napier for the special care that she received from her. Pallbearers were Eugene Snelling, Jerry Snelling, Walter Snelling, Marlin Flores, Eddie Steiner, Coy McDonald, Will Burkett, and Bobby Lewis. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
