Stuckey 13 May 1949 - Funeral rites for D. J. Stuckey, 21, who passed away at a DeRidder hospital Wednesday of last week, were held from Fort Jesup Baptist church 10 a.m. Friday by Revs. H. O. Worthy and H. H. Tibbits. Interment followed under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were Elmer and Roy Rhodes, Evlon Fleniken, Henry Wedgeworth, Crocker Mitchell and Florer Marr. Surviving relatives include: widow, Mrs. D. J. Stuckey, DeRidder, parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Stuckey, DeRidder; brothers, Carl, Clinton and Jerry Stuckey of DeRidder; sisters, Mrs. Trudie Mae Carpenter, Grayville, Ill., Misses Helan, Clara and Ruby Lee Stuckey of DeRidder; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Stuckey, Many, Mrs. Docia Saunders, Anacoco.
