John Stockton

  John Homer Stockton, 70, of Pleasant Hill, died Monday, March 8.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Drewett
Funeral Home in Mansfield, with the Rev. Vernon Stevenson
officiating. Burial was in Springridge Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow; three sons, Robert H. Stockton, and
Harold Stockton, both of Shreveport, and Lonnie D. Stockton of
Pleasant Hill; four brothers, J. K. Stockton, and Woodrow
Stockton, both of Holley Ridge, Dallas Stockton of Natchitoches,
and Harvey Stockton of Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. Viola
Jennings of Marthaville, Mrs. Oda Rowe of Pleasant Hill, Mrs.
Teula Cox, Mrs. Verdie Buford, and Mrs. Evelyn Vandiver, all of
Shreveport; and eight grandchildren.
