Stockton, 73, of Bossier City, were at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Rose-Neath Bossier City Chapel. The Rev. Floyd Hughes, pastor of the Belle Grove Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery. He died at 3:10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 31, at P and S Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Stockton, born in Pleasant Hill, and a resident of Bossier City the past 21 years, was a retired Elevator Operator at the Commercial National Bank. He was a member of the V. F. W., and was a Baptist. Mr. Stockton is survived by one sister, Mrs. T. L. Dowling of Converse; two nieces, Mrs. Virginia, DeYoung, and Mrs. Ann Nichols, both of Shreveport; one nephew, T. O. Greer of Converse, La. Pallbearers were Gene Johnson, David Harris, Ricky Oglesby, Milton Oglesby, Frank Gray, and Orland Lee.
