  Mrs. Lala Milner Stockton - March 24, 1988

  Services for Mrs. Lala Milner Stockton, 81, of Pleasant Hill,
were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Rose Neath
Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, La. Rev. Vernon Stephenson of
the Toledo Baptist Center officiated, assisted by Rev. Gayle
Dean, Jr., pastor of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.
Burial was at Springridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill.

  Mrs. Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 22, 1988 at
North Sabine Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill after a long illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.

  She is survived by three sons, Robert Stockton and Harold
Stockton, of Shreveport; Doyle Stockton of Pleasant Hill; two
sisters, Pauline Waxhan of Shreveport and Arlene Keene of Dayton,
Tx.; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces
and nephews and a great number of friends.
