William Stockton, Jr.

  William Stockton Jr., 34, a former resident of Pleasant Hill,
was killed instantly, Saturday morning, in a car-truck wreck at
Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Survivors include his widow; a daughter,
Sherrill Stockton of Ft. Wayne; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Stockton
of Mansfield; seven sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Vandaver of Mansfield,
Mrs. Teula Cox, and Mrs. Beulah Cole, both of Shreveport, Mrs.
Oda Rowe of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Viola Jennings of Marthaville,
Mrs. Eva Brown of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Virdie Buford of Dallas,
Texas; five brothers, Homer Stockton, J. K. Stockton of Rayville,
Woodrow Stockton of Houston, Texas, Harvey Stockton of
Shreveport, and Dallas Stockton of Kentucky. Funeral services
will be held at Spring Ridge, Wednesday. Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield will have charge of the services.
