  John Stegen - February 4, 1988

  Mr. John Stegen, 89, of Zwolle, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many on Saturday, Jan. 30, 1988 at 11:30 p.m.

  Graveside services were held at Rest haven Garden in Baton Rouge
on Monday, February 1, 1988 at 2 p.m. under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He was preceded in death by his first, Marie and a grandson,
John Guy.

  Survivors include his wife, Eva Stegen of Zwolle; two sons, John
Stegen of Pineville and Andrew Stegen of Metairie, two daughters,
Inga Burkett of Memphis, Tenn. And Johann Petty of Atlanta, Ga.;
one brother and three sisters; nine grandchildren, one great
grandson; three step daughters, Rose Cox and Fay Waltman, both of
Coushatta and Jerri Cobb of Ringold, La.; six step grandchildren
and one step great grandchild.
