(Lovie) Stoker of Ft. Jesup, died at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, after an extended illness. She was 75. Funeral services were held in the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev. James Burns officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rolan Stoker Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Thomas M. Stoker of Shreveport; two brothers, Carson and Leslie Preston of Griffin Ga.; five sisters, Mrs. E. C. Ruff of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Roy Boggs, Mrs. Edwin Dyer, and Mrs. Fret Jett, all of DeCatuer, Ga., and Mrs. Edwin Honne of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Otho Savell, Herbert Leach, T. J. Bush, Tim Lyddy, Willie Bell, and O. K. Snider.
