Stoker, 79, of Bernice, died Dec. 4, in the Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice, following a short illness. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Dec. 5, in the Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Grey officiating, assisted by the Rev. M. F. Copeland. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery near Bernice, under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mr. Stoker was a mason, and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his widow; two brothers, R. J. Stoker of Baton Rouge, and Dewey Stoker of Many; and four grandchildren.
