Sara Ellen Satcher

  Mrs. Sara Ellen Satcher, 87?, of Nederland, Texas, died on
Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Carter of
Nederland, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Nezzie Byrd Perkins of
Shreveport; two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Little Flock Baptist Church on
Saturday, July 26, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Elcie Walker, and the
Rev. Fred Cory officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Glen Stroud, Andrew Byrd, Ralph Vines, Bobby
Jones, Collis Owers, and Elmo Langton.
