Burial was in Central Cemetery at Robeline. He departed this life at 3:15 a.m., November 7, 1987, at Veterans Adm. Medical Center in Shreveport. Officiating was Rev. H. L. Crenwelge, assisted by Rev. Glenn Flenniken, with funeral arrangements under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis, Natchitoches. He was 62 years of age, born in Stephens, Arkansas, an Army Vet, World War II, member of the Central Baptist Church, VFW, and recently retired from Transworld Drlg. Co., due to ill health. Survivors include two sons, Curtis F. Stoker of Robeline, Theddy D. Stoker of Denham Springs; one sister, Virginia (Sis) Odum of Robeline; three brothers, Bobby D. Stoker, Donald R. Stoker, Billy J. Stoker, all of Robeline; and two grandchildren.
