Maurice R. Stoker

  Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., August 15, for Maurice
R. Stoker, 76, who died in Shreveport, August 13, after an
extended illness. The services were held in Ft. Jesup Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Oliver Roberts, Rev. O. H. Prothro, and
Rev. Glen Flenniken officiating. Burial was in Ft. Jesup
Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge.

  Survivors are three brothers, Ed Stoker of Baton Rouge, Dewitt
Stoker, and Evie Stoker, both of Robeline; three sisters, Mrs.
Jim Smith, and Miss Vera Stoker of Robeline, and Mrs. C. V.
Jackson of Many.

  Pallbearers were Corley V. Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Jimmy Stoker,
Joe Stoker, A. J. Smith, Bobby Jack Stoker.
