Stout, 60, of Mansfield, La., were held Sunday, August 29, 1993, at 2 p.m., in Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Rev. Joe Waggoner officiated. Interment followed in Mansfield Cemetery. Mr. Stout lay in state at the funeral home Saturday, from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Mr. Stout died suddenly, August 27, 1993, in Mansfield. He was born in Plain Dealing, La. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for eight years, and was employed at Hendrix Manufacturing in Mansfield for 42 years, where, at the time of his death, he was the purchasing agent. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield. He is survived by his wife, Patsy L. Stout of Mansfield, La.; three daughters, Robin Chamberlin of Many, La., Ann Foshee of Mansfield, La., and Allison Andries of Mandeville, La.; three sisters, Geraldine Hudson of Plain Dealing, La., Martha Ross, and Colleen Wilcox, both of Shreveport, La.; five grandsons; and a number of nephews and nieces. Pallbearers were Scott Brown, Richard Phillips, Billy R. Bedsole, Tommy Woodward, C. B. Hall III, Otis Hendrix, Donald Snead, and Edward Trippe. Honorary pallbearers were Mac Edwards, Calvin Hall, Joseph Rice, Gus Hall, Ricky Sewell, Joe LaHood, C. W. Hall III, and Rodney Tassin.
