Julia E. "Lizzie" Stutts

  Services for Mrs. Julia E. "Lizzie" Stutts, 89, of Pleasant
Hill, were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 9, at the First
Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. D. J. Weed, the Rev.
Adrian Pater, and the Rev. Marshall Ingle officiated. Burial was
at Springridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill. Plans were under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, La.

  Mrs. Stutts, a native and lifelong resident of Sabine Parish,
La., died Wednesday, March 7, 1984, at Pleasant Hill Hospital,
after a long illness.

  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Williams of
Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Jewell Williams of Pleasant Hill; nine
grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were grandsons.
