Leon N. Settle

  Leon N. Settle, 58, of Zwolle, died on Sunday, January 4, at
8:35 a.m., in the V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, following a short
illness.

  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 7, beginning at
4 p.m., at Aimwell Baptist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Jimmy
Brossette. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Shirley Settle; 3 daughters, Mrs.
Wilma Brannan of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Betty Temple of
Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. Bonnie Cawood of Hawaii; one son,
James Leon Settle of Zwolle; his mother, Mrs. W. O. Almond of
Lynchburt, Va.; and 7 grandchildren.
