Stiles Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, for Arthur E. Stiles, 83, who died Thursday, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Stiles had moved to Natchitoches about a year and a half ago, after having lived in Campti for 15 years. The services were held in the Coulee Bethel Baptist Church, near Campti, with the Rev. Ben Joyner officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta. Survivors are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Schober of Shreveport, Mrs. Dorothy Walker of Springhill, and Mrs. David Beach of San Dumas, Calif.; a son, Sgt. Arthur Stiles of Sandusky, Ohio; five brothers, Bennett Stiles of Shreveport, Charles P. Stiles of Converse, Howard Stiles and Albert Stiles of Campti, and Lee Stiles of Bloomburg, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Vera Lummus of Bloomburg; and four grandchildren.
