Shadoin, 49, were held Saturday, Nov. 11, 1989, at 3 p.m., at the Benson Baptist Church, with interment following in the Benson Cemetery. Officiating were Rev. Larry Moore, and Rev. Ernest Lord. Mr. Shadoin passed away at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 4:10 a.m., after a lengthy illness. A native and lifelong resident of Benson, Mr. Shadoin was a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member of the Benson Baptist Church. His survivors include his wife, Earliene Fox Shadoin of Benson; father, A. J. Shadoin of Benson; one daughter, Loretta E. Shadoin of Benson; four sisters, Frances Cobb of Mansfield, Mary Mabry of Shreveport, Ruth Ragsdale of Tucson, Ariz., and Ruby Mondello of New Orleans; four brothers, Henry Shadoin of Benson, Ben Shadoin of Bridge City, Tex., George Shadoin of Many, Bernard Shadoin of Benson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers were Bill Jackson, Archie Anderson, Paul Craig, Don Nelson, Tommy Langston, and Lewis Rascoe. Funeral services were under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield.
