Earl Mercer of Lake Charles, and Rev. M. L. Boland officiating. Interment was in Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were A. J. Badeaux, Willie Wright, S. L. Williams, Earnest Taft, Polk Rivers, and Ray Jones. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Goldie Stanfield of Zwolle; four sons, William L., Charles W., and Earl Ray Stanfield, all of Lake Charles, Earnest Ray Stanfield of Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Jamison of Shreveport, Mrs. Elsie Ray Landrum of Lake Charles; two brothers, John Stanfield of Livingston, Tex., Edward Stanfield of Conroe, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Walker of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Susie Tulos of Livingston, Tex.,; and nine grandchildren.
