The Sabine Index - Mrs. Will H. Stanley

  5 Aug 1955 - (Leesville) Mrs. Will H. Stanley, 72, resident
of Leesville since 1929, died at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at her
home here. Rites was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the
Castor Church. Dr. Robert S. Crawford, pastor, Leesville Baptist
church, officiated. Burial was in the Castor cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Will H. Stanley, state highway
department employee of Leesville; one daughter, Mrs. Opal Freels,
Leesville; three sons, Dennie of Leesville; W. H. Jr., of
Bellwood, La., and Garland of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Miss
Tiny Boswell and Mrs. Amanda Sawyer, both of Bellwood; five
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mrs. Stanley is a sister-in-law of Mrs. D. E. Nash of
Many.
