Mrs. Vera Strebeck

  Mrs. Vera Strebeck, 81, of Shreveport, died Friday, Sept. 13, at
4:48 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Strebeck is survived by two sons, Amos Strebeck,
Marthaville, and Eldon Strebeck, Angleton, Tex.; two daughters,
Mrs. Odell Townsend, Marthaville, and Mrs. Margrette Doolittle,
Shreveport; 29 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Cross Roads Baptist Church
Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Clarence Berly, and
the Rev. C. C. Pierce officiating. Burial was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
