All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Amos Strebeck Funeral services for Amos Strebeck, 72, of Marthaville, were held Friday, Nov. 3, 1995, at Crossroad Baptist Church in Marthaville, with the Revs. Bill Dobson, and Glen Howard officiating. Mr. Strebeck died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at Overton Brooks Medical Center in Shreveport, and was buried at Belmont Cemetery. A native of Belmont, Mr. Strebeck was a World War II veteran, and a retired carpenter. He was a member of Anthony Baptist Church, and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Betty Strebeck; son, Billy Hamous of Robeline; five daughters, Charlene Kilgore of Marthaville, Lois Ann Tillman of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Patsy Lofton of Robeline, Jeanette Ralls of Provencal, and Marcia Simmons of Robeline; two sisters, Odell Townsen of Marthaville, and Janie Marquerite Doolittle of Shreveport; 24 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, David Strebeck, and Alvin Strebeck; and one daughter, Betty Strebeck.
