Strickland Funeral services were held for William H. Strickland, 71, of Russelville, Ark., Tuesday, June 26, at 2 p.m., in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop Glen Hardy officiated, and burial was in the Muse Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Strickland died Sunday, June 24, in Ola, Ark., following a short illness. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Douglas V. Strickland of Russelville, and David J. Strickland of Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs. Carmen Starr of Shreveport, Mrs. Elma Grace Bynnes of Cheyene, Wyo.; Mrs. Betty Guynn of Panama City, Fla.; Mrs. Gladys Baker of Augusta, Ga., and Mrs. Ada Norris of Boise, Idaho; five brothers, Clovis Strickland of Shreveport; A. O. Stricland of Alexandria, Rayburn and Orvil Strickland, both of Winnfield, and Eddie Strickland of Dardanelle, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Williams of Shreveport, 28 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
