Maudie L. Strickland

  Mrs. Maudie L. Strickland, 54, of Shreveport, died in route to
Confederate Memorial Medical Center, at 9:15 a.m., Thursday, Nov.
14, after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, in the Marshall
Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. D.
"Step" Martin, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Robeline.

  Mrs. Strickland was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a resident of
Shreveport for 31 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist
Church.
