  Herbert Alton Strickland - June 9, 1988

  Mr. Herbert Alton Strickland, 88, of Converse, died at DeSoto
General Hospital in Mansfield on May 31, 1988.

  Services were held at Fellowship Baptist Church on June 2, 1988
at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. R. Hearron officiating and Rev. Stage
assisting. Burial was at the Fellowship Cemetery under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife; Pauline Strickland of Converse and
numerous nieces and nephews.
