  Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Strickland, 44, of Shreveport,
were held at Sunset Church of Christ in Shreveport, at 11:30
a.m., Friday, April 28.

  Graveside services were at 3 p.m., in Deadwood, Texas.

  Mrs. Strickland passed away on April 25, 1995, after a short
illness.
  She was a homemaker and seamstress.

  Survivors are her husband, Kelly Strickland; one son, Kevin
Strickland; one daughter, Cindy Holt and her husband Jeff, all of
Shreveport. She is also survived by her parents, T. P. and Alice
Shaw of Mansfield; three sisters, Sandra Winfree of Converse,
Avis Simmons of Huntsville, Ark., and Evelyn Dauben of Dallas;
three brothers, Charles Shaw of Converse, Clayton Shaw of
Mansfield, and Dwayne Shaw of Stonewall; also numerous nieces,
nephews, friends; and a special friend, Suzy Moreno.

  Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by an infant son; and two
brothers, Travis, and Billy Ray Shaw.
