Daniel Mappus, and Rev. Jack Mills. Interment was at Warren Cemetery. Ms. Strickland passed away Thursday, September 12, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. She is survived by four daughters, Katherine S. Derrick of Many, Teresa Jan Clary of Robeline, Dorinda Ammons of Friendship, and Patricia Strickland of Bossier City; two sons, William Edwin Strickland of Robeline, and William James Strickland Jr. of Natchitoches; six sisters, Lela Bell Miller of Natchitoches, Estell Bertrand of Bossier City, Dora Thibodeaux of Vidor, Tex., Dorothy Woodel of Many, Quinnie Dyess of Pleasant Hill, and Dorris Young of Cosby, Tenn.; four brothers, Aubrey Oxley, and Kenneth Oxley, both of Many, Loy Oxley of Shreveport, and Lovell Oxley of Robeline; eight grandchildren, Wendy Simpson, Patrick Strickland, Heath Goins, Jana Clary, Darren Warren, Gary Ammons, Cody Ammons, and Trina Dubois; two great grandchildren, Lara Goins, and Alan French.
