Starks (Photo) Funeral services for Charles C. Starks, 65, will be held at 1 p.m., on Feb. 15, 1997, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in the Mt. Carmel Community. The Rev. Larry DeLoach will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mr. Starks died Feb. 6, 1997, in Pasco, Washington. Mr. Starks was born on March 11, 1931, in Austin, Texas. He was the owner of Basin Puma Services. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Pasco, Wash., and he belonged to the VFW of Pasco, Eagles Lodge of Kennewick, Wash., and the Burbank-Wallula Lions Club. Mr. Starks was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his beloved companion, Marie DeLee of Wallula, Wash.; two sons, Brian Starks of Federal Way, Wash., and Bradford Starks of Wallula, Wash.; his mother, Mary Starks of Florien; three brothers, Glen Starks of Florien, Cliff Starks of Baton Rouge, and Joe Starks of Many. He is also survived by five sisters, Jean Weldon, and Joy Starks of Florien, Doris Durr of Geneva, Texas, Delight Gable, Gunnersville, Ala., and Jerry Lampin of Martinsville, Texas; three grandchildren, Brian Starks of Pasco, Wash., Rachel Starks of Federal Way, Wash., and Nickolas Starks of Richland, Wash. Mr. Starks was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Wylie.
