Mrs. Ada Strickland

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Strickland, age 83, who passed
away Friday, June 29, were conducted at the LDS Chapel, Many, at
3 p.m., Saturday, June 30, with Elder Seegel, and Bishop Mack
Hayes officiating. Interment was in the family cemetery.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons.

  Survivors are her sons, W. E. Orville, and Elmer Strickland of
Shreveport, Raborn Strickland of Winnfield, A. G. of Alexandria,
and William of Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Williams of
Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Nichols, and Mrs. Ella
Hildebrand, both of Many; one brother, Ed Stewart of Many; a
number of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
