Mrs. Cleveland Stewart 
  
  Mrs. Cleveland Stewart, 73, of Florien, died at Mt. Carmel 
Thursday, Jan. 18, at 7:30 p.m., after an extended illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held at the Cenchrea Church of the 
Nazarene on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J. V. 
Taylor, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Interment was in the 
Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows 
Funeral Home. 
  
  Survivors are her husband, Cleveland Stewart of Florien; four 
sons, G. C. Stewart of Shreveport, Sammie and Lee R. Stewart, 
both of Florien, and Grover Stewart of Winnfield; two daughters, 
Mrs. Bailey Thaxton of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Ira Weldon of Many; 
three sisters, Mrs. Otis Dowden, Mrs. Lora Dowden, and Mrs. 
Julian Williams, all of Shreveport; 17 grandchildren, and 17 
great grandchildren. 
  
  Pallbearers were her grandsons, Dale Stewart, Joe Stewart, 
William Stewart, Tony Stewart, Glenn Stewart, Ronald Stewart, 
Mark Stewart, and Jimmy Don Weldon.
