Wm. T. Hall, Jr., officiating, assisted by Rev. Walker of Converse. Interment was in the Zwolle cemetery under the direction of the Drewitt Funeral home of Manfield. The 61-year-old Zwolle night watchman was killed instantly Thursday at about 4:30 a.m. when a freight train smashed into his apparently stalled pick up truck at a crossing in Zwolle. Survivors are his widow; a stepson, Tommy Phillips of Shelbyville, Texas; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carrie Belle Stevens of Detroit, Mich; four brothers, Allen Stewart of Oak Grove, Roy Stewart of Zwolle, Tom Stewart of Converse and Ollie Stewart of Pleasant Hill.
